It’s hard to imagine that this was unintentional. This was not like an earring fell into the sandwich or a piece of hair laying on a pickle.

That’s awful. Cops have every right to be treated with the same respect as anyone else in a restaurant. With that said, if I was a cop in uniform working in a liberal city like N.Y. I would get used to packing my own lunch. I can only imagine what some cop-hating millennial working behind the counter does to people’s food.

An on-duty NYPD officer suffered injuries Thursday after chomping on a razor blade stuffed inside a steak sandwich he’d just bought from a Queens deli, sources told The Post.

The nasty surprise was tucked inside the hero he’d purchased around 4:30 p.m. from Bon Appetit Specialty Food Store on Beach 129th Street in Belle Harbor.

The 24-year veteran, who was in plainclothes at the time and assigned to the critical response command in the counter-terrorism bureau, suffered a small cut in his mouth and was treated at Nassau University Medical Center.

The deli should be shut down for this. This is completely unacceptable and if they cannot provide food safe to eat then they have no right to be in business. I would sue the business for attempted murder and tampering with my food. They should pay this police officer several million dollars for this incident.

I also blame Mayor Bill de Blasio for this. New York City has become a criminally infested cesspool since he was elected with police officers being disrespected and harassed in broad daylight. I’ve always said when the police are finally fed up with how much they are being disrespected they should stay home for a week. We’d get to see just how well those gun control laws are working in New York City.

Hopefully, they catch the person that did this and make them pay. I would think “attempted murder” would be one of the charges.
