Walmart was feeling a little too “ho ho ho-ish” with their inappropriate Christmas sweaters and landed in some hot Holiday water.

One of the sweaters was especially bad. It featured Santa Clause with lines of cocaine in front of him and was for sale on the site Canadian website.

Walmart has now apologized for the “adults-only” Christmas sweater and pulled that sweater and several other inappropriate Christmas items after massive backlash.

A Walmart spokesperson said, “These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart’s values and have no place on our website.”

My question is, who is monitoring these websites? Because this stuff happens all the time. Why don’t these companies (Amazon, talking to you too) hire people to check the content on their website or have a better vetting process? This isn’t rocket science.

The sweater showed Santa with three lines of a white substance along with the phrase “let it snow.”

“We all know how snow works. It’s white, powdery and the best snow comes straight from South America,” the description read. “That’s bad news for jolly old St. Nick, who lives far away in the North Pole. That’s why Santa really likes to savor the moment when he gets his hands on some quality, grade A, Colombian snow.”

Other duds for sale depicted Father Christmas in compromising situations, including with his pants off — roasting his “chestnuts” — in front of a fireplace.

The threads quickly made the rounds on social media, where shoppers expressed shock about Saint Nick’s antics. [New York Post]

Here are some reactions from Twitter users on the controversial sweater:

“Why did they sell this in the first place?”

“The blatant disrespect towards Christmas has truly gotten out of hand; I’ll take a medium.”

Who thought this was a good idea, @Walmart?”
